It seems as though most people have PT running a lot smoother than I do.
I've Clevo D870P Audio using it for over a year and it's never stable for long periods of time. I've never used samplers Thanks, spkguitar More is always better, IMHO, but it won't solve your particular problem.
If not, once you find Clevo D870P Audio sound, why not process the track and remove the plugins? That will take a load off the CPU. Which plugins are you using, by the way?
Some plugins can be real CPU hogs. When I Clevo D870P Audio doing the tracking Clevo D870P Audio the drums I didn't have a control room to hear the tones all that well we did it at a friends house since I don't have room for drums, this is also why I needed a laptop instead of a desktop, remote recording.

I would record a little bit Clevo D870P Audio play it back through a PA that was set up, but I found later that it was a little misleading on the drum tones. I was processing some of the tracks with Audiosuite plugs but I fell out of practice with that.
Guess I'll have to start up again. But I also use some free vst plugins from digital fish phones.
Do you have any idea why PT freezes up occaisionally when I try to save? I can't record vocals, or anything for that matter, with auto save on.

Like I said, the screen is absolutely perfect - bright, evenly lit, precise colours, no marks on the surface, nor any dead or otherwise unwell pixels: I'll put all the drivers on CD, however they are all available from Clevo website: Works great with Linux - had Ubuntu on it lately: Any questions - please email me. You can also run the ssds in raid 0 for Clevo D870P Audio performance.
Be advised however that trim will not function properly in any situation where their is an "intelligent" controller between windows and Clevo D870P Audio drive. The DK implements first generation 1.
Their is no real benefit to using faster solid state drives, And some people have reported that newer drives are incompatible. Some SSD's have a Clevo D870P Audio that can be used to limit speed to 1. These modules are pretty hard to come by these days. The Go GTX being much easier to find.
